A Message from Our Principal

Dear Ganado Middle School Families,

Welcome to the 2025–2026 school year! We are excited to open our doors once again and warmly welcome all returning and new students to Ganado Middle School. On behalf of our dedicated staff, we thank you for your continued support and partnership in your child’s educational journey.

At Ganado Middle School, our mission is to educate our students at the highest possible level, prepare them for high school and future endeavors, reinforce positive characteristics, and enrich their studies with our Diné culture. Our vision is for every student to leave GMS confident, capable, and culturally grounded—ready to thrive in an ever-changing world.

We are proud to share that Ganado Middle School is recognized as a “B” rated school under the Arizona Department of Education’s accountability system for 2024. This achievement reflects the hard work and commitment of our students, families, and staff. Together, we have created a strong learning environment focused on academic excellence, personal growth, and cultural identity.

This year, we will continue to focus on high academic standards, student engagement, positive behavior, and family involvement. We believe that strong relationships between school and home are essential for student success. We invite you to stay connected through regular communication, participation in school events, and engagement with your child’s learning.

Please be sure to submit all registration forms, updated immunizations (dated after July 1, 2025), and proof of residency through the PowerSchool Parent Portal, or pick them up and submit them at our front office. Having updated documents on file helps us provide the best support for your child.
